As a Door Builder, you'll be an essential part of the production process, transforming raw materials into finished doors that meet precise specifications. Duties Assemble door components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to meet detailed specifications. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely for materials handling and transportation within the facility. Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, metal, or composite to ensure accurate fit and finish. Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure durability and adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, supporting efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Handle materials carefully during fabrication and assembly to prevent damage and ensure precision. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment used in manufacturing and carpentry. Mechanical knowledge related to door fabrication, assembly, and materials handling. Experience with forklift operation and warehouse procedures for efficient logistics. Strong understanding of millwork, fabrication techniques, and construction principles. Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints accurately for precise assembly. Familiarity with carpentry practices, machining processes, and use of hand-held power tools.
