Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical in the field Perform maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems Install new HVAC units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines Responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locations Responsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the company's reputation is improved with every customer contact Maintain inspection log(s) for equipment/vehicle and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment is maintained to Company and safety standards Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Company's safety policies and procedures Deliver a high quality output consistent with the Company's construction standards Operate Company vehicle Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and Company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans provided Able to work outside in variable weather conditions Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
Prior experience in construction, maintenance or related work Ability to communicate with Customer's regarding work status and service concerns Must be able to do local travel daily in Central FL area in a Company Truck May be required to drive extended distances to customer sites in Company truck to further locations Able to do occasional overnight travel to perform work at jobsites further from Auburndale, FL in other parts of FL Valid driver's license for operating company vehicles
Preferred:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. EPA universal certification combined with HVAC experience preferred, not required
