Drafter I

An exciting opportunity is available for a Drafter I in Allegheny County, PA with a privately held industrial manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for a true mechanical drafting professional who wants to build a long-term career with a stable, low-turnover company known for customized fluid conditioning, diagnostics, and specialized energy products. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Drafter I position include: Associate's degree in Mechanical Drafting or a related drafting field preferred True drafting school background strongly preferred; recent graduates with SolidWorks drafting experience will be considered 1-2+ years of actual drafting experience and/or training preferred Experience using current versions of AutoCAD and SolidWorks required Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints, with knowledge of geometric tolerances preferred Draft and revise 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, including detail, assembly, layout, schematic, diagram, parts list, fixture, and piping drawings Create 3D models and assemblies, convert manual drawings into electronic CAD files, and document drawing revisions Research SAP BOM components, compare SolidWorks and SAP BOMs, support 3D printing tasks, and assist with engineering documentation

Salary :

$23.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
