Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This position involves operating a truck/semi with a trailer, loading and securing materials, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries. The role also includes general shop/ yard duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a truck/semi with a trailer in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Load, secure, and unload trailers, ensuring cargo safety and compliance. Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites efficiently. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and paperwork as required. Follow all safety protocols and report any mechanical issues immediately. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for: Stick Shift Combination Vehicles Air Brakes Up-to-date DOT Physical Exam. Proven experience operating a truck/semi and pulling a trailer. Ability to safely load, secure, and unload cargo. Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction or related industries. Mechanical knowledge for minor truck/trailer maintenance. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
