Primary Objectives Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Deliver and pick up loads on time while maintaining safety standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to support operational efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities Transport cargo between warehouses, terminals, customer sites, rail yards, or other locations as directed. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) as required. Verify that loads are properly secured and safe for transport. Maintain accurate and compliant driving logs and trip records. Record equipment movement on driver's street sheet. Obtain signatures for pickups and deliveries as required. Maintain regular communication with dispatch for instructions and updates. Replenish fluids such as oil, fuel, and radiator coolant when necessary. Follow all company safety policies and work rules. Comply with federal, state, and local commercial driving regulations. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) required Licenses and Certifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and acceptable driving record required Current Medical Examiner's Certificate required Transportation Worker Identification Credential preferred Work Experience 1+ years' experience as a Commercial Class A driver required Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to safely perform job duties. Ability to qualify as a commercial driver under all applicable state, federal, and local regulations. Ability to effectively communicate with dispatch, managers, and co-workers. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic truck maintenance. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
