DSP- (Direct Support Professional)Female Needed Mon-Thurs 11a-4p

Duties

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
• Support individuals in participating in community activities and social interactions
• Document observations, progress, and incidents according to established protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized goals and interventions
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for individuals Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or similar populations preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, vital signs monitoring, HIPAA regulations, and nursing home care is beneficial
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and other team members
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and maintain professional boundaries
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay:

$22.00
