Dump Truck Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a range of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of construction debris, freight, or other bulk materials. Your expertise in commercial driving will be vital in maintaining smooth operations while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Duties Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers with manual transmission to load, transport, and unload materials across multiple locations Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand tools when necessary Drive route-specific schedules efficiently while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols Manage the secure transport of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized freight as required Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with securing loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records Qualifications Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving route driving and freight handling Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers preferred Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or manual methods when necessary Experience with various truck types such as flatbeds, tankers, or roll-off trucks is a plus Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and compliance documentation Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a tangible impact!
