Job Description

When you join the Complete Care team, you will do more than join the most trusted Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supplier in Northeast Alabama — you will impact the lives of others within your own community. Our employees are compassionate, caring, and friendly and provide comfort to those in hospice care. You will go home daily knowing that you made someone's life better or more comfortable. The Delivery/Equipment Technician must be knowledgeable on all equipment and supplies provided by Complete Care, Inc. and uphold its standard for excellence. Responsible for competent, efficient, and friendly delivery service to customers in their homes. Responsible for safeguarding company assets while in their care. Under general supervision by the Warehouse Manager, a Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery and service of all products not classified as "common DME" or disposable.
HAS SUCH DUTIES AS
Is responsible for delivery of all products and equipment. Deliveries are to be made according to a pre-arranged in a timely manner. Is responsible for assigned evening and weekend on call duty according to schedules. Provide high level of customer service at all times. Is responsible for instructing patients on use and care of equipment. Must maintain high level of product knowledge on all oxygen and DME (Training will be given by an experienced Driver). Is responsible for seeing that all paperwork relevant to the position is returned thoroughly completed without errors. Is responsible for maintaining the physical and mechanical condition of his/her assigned company vehicle. Trucks/vans are to be cleaned and serviced regularly. Is responsible for some equipment minor repairs and assembly.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Prior home health care experience preferred. 3. Good communication skills. 4. Must be able to lift over 45 lbs. regularly. 5. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently (Bilingual is a plus). 6. Must show good attendance and arrive at scheduled time. Physical Qualifications. In an average 10 hour day the employee lifts/carries up to 65 pounds frequently. In an average 10 hour day the employee stands/walks 3 hours. In an average 10 hour day the employee sits 1 hours. (These hours include up to 1 hours of data entry/phone work.) In an average 10 hour day the employee drives 4 hour. Must be clean & neat in personal appearance.
