E-Bike Rental Associate 1325 East Sherman Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 From $14 an hour - Part-time From $14 an hour - Part-time Overview Gear Garage is a used ski and snowboard shop that operates E-Bike rentals during the summer months, and we are looking for a motivated, outgoing employee to join our team for the summer. This position primarily involves assisting customers with E-Bike rentals, explaining bike operation and saftey, handling check-ins/check-outs, and helping maintain a smooth rental experience. This is a seasonal summer postion, but it has the potential to become a year-round role for applicants with ski and snowboard knowledge or experience. Experience in the ski/snowboard industry is preffered, along with strong customer service skills and reliability. Duties Checking in/out customers and getting them fitted with the correct bike and helmet Teaching customers how to safely use the electric bikes Using a Point of Sale system to take payment and manage bookings Answering questions about the nearby trails Preforming light maintenance and cleaning on rental bikes Assisting with other duties as requested Qualifications Prior experience in customer service is highly desirable Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems to ensure accurate transactions Must be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer season Ability to lift and maneuver heavy E-Bikes and equipment Basic bike knowledge preffered Ski and snowboard knowledge or experience preffered for potential year-roud employment Strong communication and customer service skills Applicants must be 16 years of age or older Pay will be based on experience
