27054 E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles). Performs a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence. Core Responsibilities Independently read and interpret: Blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics Assemble and install: Harnesses Switch panels Electrical and mechanical components Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.

Troubleshoot:

12V DC and 110V AC systems Perform repairs and rebuilds on: Mechanical Electrical Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults. Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed. Perform equipment setup and changeovers. Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders.

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of:

Electrical systems (12V

DC & 110V AC

) Mechanical assembly processes Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently. Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred). Problem Solving Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions. Identify non-conforming products and assist with corrective/preventive actions. Expectations Maintain high quality and productivity standards. Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrate flexibility across work areas. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is $19.00 - $21.50. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
