Early Childhood Educator Substitute Position

With 20 locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia, we proudly serve children from infancy through school age, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Position Summary We are seeking dependable and flexible Substitute Teachers to support our classrooms across various locations. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children of all ages and are able to step in as needed to maintain a positive and structured learning environment. Key Responsibilities Foster a love of learning and positively impact the lives of young children Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Follow lesson plans and support daily classroom routines Supervise and interact with children through age-appropriate activities Maintain open communication with families, co-workers, and management Assist with classroom management, meals, transitions, and daily care needs Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and company policies

Qualifications Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a minimum of 15 ECE credits

OR Experience:

At least 2 years of documented experience working with young children Experience working with children (infant through school age) preferred Flexibility to work in different classrooms and/or locations as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Must meet all state licensing requirements (background checks, clearances, etc.) Why Join Tender Care? Pay:

$18.50 - $20.50 per hour
