1 to 3 years preferred Description and Details St. John's Parish Day School, an Episcopal school rooted in whole child education, is seeking a part-time Early Childhood STEM Teacher for the 2026 to 2027 school year. This specialist teacher will work with children ages 3 and 4, introducing early concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math through hands on, play based experiences. This position focuses on curiosity, exploration, and discovery in a nurturing environment. Our classrooms are grounded in a Responsive Classroom approach, fostering strong relationships, a sense of belonging, and a positive learning environment. As a specialist teacher, this role works in partnership with Early Childhood classroom teachers to support a joyful and integrated learning experience.

Reports to:

Early Childhood Division Head and Assistant Head of School Responsibilities

• Design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate STEM experiences
• Foster curiosity, exploration, and early problem solving
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align experiences
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Participate in faculty meetings and school events as appropriate The Ideal Candidate Will

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in education or a related field
• Experience working with young children preferred

Salary Range:
