Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their formative years. This vibrant role involves creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environments that foster curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational journey of infant - school age children ensuring they develop essential skills through innovative lesson planning and compassionate classroom management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a supportive and dynamic team. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to early childhood development standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning for children of various ages. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions between lessons, free play, and rest periods while maintaining high standards of behavior management. Conduct assessments of children's progress through observations. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring early intervention or additional support. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, storytelling, arts and crafts, physical movement, and literacy exercises to promote holistic development. Maintain detailed records of children's development milestones, attendance, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare regulations and school policies. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience in lesson planning and implementation. Proven classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and create an environment conducive to learning for young children. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and specialists. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners including toddlers, preschoolers, children with special needs or in early intervention programs. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
