Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Education and Care Teacher to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will design engaging curriculum plans, support children's developmental milestones, and create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth. Duties Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional development. Conduct assessments of children's progress through observations and documentation to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education and early intervention to support individual learning needs. Manage classroom activities that foster childhood development, including toddler care, preschool routines, and hands-on learning experiences. Incorporate curriculum development techniques that emphasize literacy education, STEM concepts, and child welfare best practices. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and standards. Requirements Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or child care settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques. Experience working with children across various age groups such as infants, toddlers and preschoolers Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate teaching physical education, literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional learning. Certification in early education and care ; relevant coursework in childhood development is preferred. Commitment to child welfare standards and creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
