EBay Warehouse Specialist

Position Summary The eBay Listing Specialist is responsible for identifying, preparing, and listing automotive parts for sale on eBay. This role blends warehouse work, quality control, photography, and strategic online merchandising. The ideal candidate has hands-on auto parts knowledge and experience selling on eBay, is detail-oriented, organized, and understands how accurate listings, competitive pricing, and clean parts directly drive sales and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Part Identification & Selection Locate and identify parts within the yard management/inventory system that are worthy of listing online based on condition, demand, and value. Evaluate parts for resale potential, completeness, and marketability. Work closely with inventory and sales teams to prioritize high-value and fast-moving items. Cleaning & Quality Control Clean parts thoroughly to meet online sales standards. Perform quality control inspections to ensure parts are correct, complete, and free of defects beyond normal wear. Verify part numbers, compatibility, and descriptions for accuracy. Warehouse & Inventory Handling Work in a warehouse environment to move, stage, and store parts safely. Scan parts into inventory and assign correct storage locations. Maintain organized work areas and proper part labeling. Photography & Content Creation Take clear, professional-quality photos that accurately represent each part. Capture multiple angles, part numbers, and any imperfections. Follow company photo standards for consistency and branding. eBay Listing & Optimization Create and post eBay listings with accurate titles, descriptions, and item specifics. Price parts strategically based on market data, condition, demand, and company price guidelines. Use SEO-focused keywords and structured titles to maximize visibility and conversion. Ensure listings comply with eBay policies and company standards. Performance & Accuracy Maintain low return rates through accurate listings and proper QC. Monitor listing performance and adjust pricing or titles when needed. Meet daily and weekly listing goals. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of auto parts and vehicle compatibility. Proven experience listing and selling on eBay. High attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (standing, lifting, moving parts). Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and listing software. Ability to follow standardized processes and workflows. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and stay productive. Preferred (Not Required) Familiarity with inventory or yard management systems. Basic understanding of pricing strategies and online sales. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of parts listed per day/week. Listing accuracy (returns, errors, customer complaints). Photo and listing quality consistency. Sell-through rate and time-to-sale. Work Environment Combination of warehouse and computer-based work. Requires lifting, cleaning, photographing, and organizing auto parts
