Echo Sonographer, PRN, Days Echo Sonographer, PRN, Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall 3150 Horizon Rd, TX 75032 Work hours: PRN, Days Department highlights: Performs diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality image production by appropriately positioning patients, adjusting technical factors, and analyzing image quality for accuracy and safety. Delivers patient-centered care by explaining procedures, assessing physical and emotional needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective imaging services. Operates and maintains advanced imaging equipment, adhering to quality control, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting a clean and efficient clinical environment. Here's What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology Preferred 1 Year experience preferably in a hospital setting Preferred Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Upon Hire Required Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer Upon Hire Required And Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required What You Will Do Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions Operates, cares for and maintains equipment Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Depending on status, benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student Loan replacement programs as well as several other benefits. Texas Health Hospital Rockwall has served Rockwall, Kaufman, Hunt, and surrounding counties since 2007. Our 105-bed acute care hospital provides medical and surgical services to patients from Rockwall, Heath, Fate, Royse City, McLendon-Chisholm, eastern Dallas County, southern Collin County, and nearby communities. Our hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, including a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, labor and delivery suites, cardiac catheterization lab, interventional radiology suite, expanded surgery suites, and emergency and intensive care areas.
