Delivers patient-centered care by explaining procedures, assessing physical and emotional needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective imaging services. Operates and maintains advanced imaging equipment, adhering to quality control, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting a clean and efficient clinical environment. Here's What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology Preferred 1 Year experience preferably in a hospital setting Preferred Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Upon Hire Required Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer Upon Hire Required And Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required What You Will Do Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions Operates, cares for and maintains equipment Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Depending on status, benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student Loan replacement programs as well as several other benefits.
