Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in echocardiography. This role focuses on performing high-quality imaging procedures in a collaborative hospital environment, utilizing advanced echo technology. Applicants with strong technical skills and a commitment to outstanding patient care are encouraged to apply.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week 8-hour shifts Rotational assignments at designated imaging facilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct echocardiograms following physician orders and clinical protocols Prepare patients and explain exam procedures to ensure comfort and safety Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal operation and image quality Analyze test results and provide accurate, timely documentation Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and support diagnostic decisions Uphold compliance with all required safety and privacy standards
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Echo Tech with strong technical proficiency in cardiac sonography Certification from an accredited Echocardiography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program preferred ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography is desirable Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
