Category Nursing - RN-CVICU Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in CVICU care. This contract position requires a dedicated nurse who can work efficiently in both the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and the general Intensive Care Unit, adapting to dynamic situations and providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

36 hours per week Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse license Previous experience working in a CVICU setting is essential Ability and willingness to float between ICU and CVICU based on unit needs Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients Monitor, assess, and document patient responses and vital signs Administer medications, treatments, and specialized therapies for cardiac patients Assist physicians during procedures and respond to medical emergencies Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and recovery Ensure patient safety and follow established protocols and procedures in both ICU and CVICU environments This position offers the opportunity to expand your skills in a high-acuity environment while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
