How you'll contribute An Echosonographer who excels in this role: Performs or is willing to learn all procedures associated with cardiac sonography i.e. Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo. Performs all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department. Follows all radiology policies and procedures. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Diagnostic Imaging. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Applicants should have post high school training and/or education and be a graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.

Additional requirements include:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registry eligible. Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Must be registered within two (2) years' of start date. Minimum of one (1) year experience in Echocardiography, Stress echo, and Transesophageal technology preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served in Diagnostic Imaging.
