Job Description

Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Educational Diagnostician (Ed Diag) - 2026-2027 School Year ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and professional Educational Diagnostician for a contract position for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment, focusing on helping students reach their full academic potential through expert assessment and collaborative planning.
Position Overview Term:
August 2026 - May 2027
Schedule:
37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Days:
5 days per week (Monday - Friday)
Age Group:
K-12 (Primary focus on Secondary levels)
Key Responsibilities Assessments:
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify learning needs and determine eligibility for special education services.
IEP Development:
Interpret assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Collaboration:
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to provide data-driven recommendations and instructional strategies.
Compliance:
Maintain accurate student records and ensure all documentation adheres to district, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
Meetings:
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, offering expert insight into student progress and diagnostic findings. Qualifications Master's Degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field. State Certification as an Educational Diagnostician (required). Proven experience in educational assessment and the special education process. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
