Job Description

Job Title:
Financial Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support the finance team with daily administrative and financial tasks. This role focuses on assisting with accounts payable, organizing financial data, and helping maintain accurate records and reports. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers and systems.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office tools Ability to follow processes and take direction
Preferred Skills:
Some exposure to accounting or finance environments Familiarity with basic financial systems or software
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable (AP) tracking, including logging invoices and monitoring payment status Help review financial reports for accuracy and flag any inconsistencies to the finance team Support tracking of company spending and maintain organized records of expenses Pull, run, and organize standard and ad hoc financial reports as requested Maintain and update financial files, records, and documentation Assist with data entry in accounting and financial systems Support month-end and year-end processes by gathering and organizing required information Communicate with internal teams and vendors to collect or clarify financial information Help ensure all financial documents are properly filed and easily accessible Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed
