EDI and Order Management

We are a specialty packaged food company with distribution into the retail and foodservice sector across the USA and Canada. After +25 years in business, we continue to add talented individuals to our team. We are looking to hire hardworking individuals with experience in import logistics, freight management, order processing, vendor & customer management, and inventory planning. The ideal candidate is an effective multi-tasker, and has experience with Quickbooks and EDI. The individual has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities And Skillsets Required:

Receive and process orders primarily through multiple EDI platforms but also by phone, fax or email. Through EDI, prepare routing information, shipping documents as well as perform invoicing. Compare order quantities to the warehouse's inventory balance reports to check the order fulfilment status of each customer order. Prepare necessary follow-up to ensure deliveries can be made by the specified dates required. Initiate tracers with carriers. Ensure that customer orders are processed in a timely manner by communicating and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise. Assist with inventory planning, logistics and QC. Detail oriented and can efficiently multi-task and follow through quickly. Experience with import documents & logistics is a strong plus. College Degree preferred. Interest in cooking and the culinary arts is another plus.
