The Edibles Technician will report to the Edibles Lead and assist with the preparation and packaging of cannabis-infused edibles. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in culinary arts and cannabis processing, a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and packaging of cannabis-infused edibles under the supervision of the Kitchen Lead. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including regular cleaning of equipment and workspaces. Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, including ingredient usage, batch tracking, and inventory management. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing ingredients and supplies. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to food safety and cannabis production. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience in a kitchen or food production environment, preferably in the cannabis industry. Basic understanding of food safety regulations and cannabis processing principles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strict adherence to safety protocols. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles preferred. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which includes a pre-employment background check. Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID card.Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for long durations. Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens. May require daily use of provided PPE.Our Benefits:
