Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine MD or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Your expertise will help promote health, prevent illness, and manage acute and chronic conditions across various clinical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient lives through proactive health coaching, thorough assessments, and collaborative care. Duties Conduct detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health status. Manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions including acute pain, infectious diseases, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and chronic illnesses. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system RXNT for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Perform procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization. Coordinate care plans involving discharge planning, case management, home care, hospice & palliative medicine. Participate in telehealth consultations and clinical research initiatives to stay at the forefront of medical advancements. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain high standards of infection control throughout all clinical activities. Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and utilization review processes. Skilled in handling complex cases. Experience working with special populations such as pediatrics (including toddler and neonatal care), geriatrics (memory care/dementia), individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice across all clinical environments.
