Requires thorough knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and basic arithmetic skills. Must be skilled in using various standard office machines, including computers and word processing and spreadsheet applications. Demonstrated language proficiency on the District's Bilingual Exam and District's Clerical/Administrative Support Level III Exam. Valid Driver's license required. High School diploma or equivalent supplemented by course work in secretarial science or a related business field required. Minimum of 5 years of responsible and varied secretarial and clerical or office management experience, preferably in a school district or as Office Coordinator I is required. Experience in an educational setting preferably adult education: excellent organizational and time-management skills; strong attention to detail, reliability and consistent attendance and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $10,960 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $13,000 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
