Overview Join our dynamic team as a Language Specialist and become a vital catalyst in empowering learners to achieve their language goals! In this role, you will design engaging curriculum, utilize innovative learning technologies, and deliver personalized instruction that inspires confidence and mastery in English and other languages. Your expertise will help diverse learners—from children to adults—develop essential communication skills, literacy, and cultural understanding. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels, emphasizing adult language education, literacy, and classroom management strategies. Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate modern learning technology tools, ensuring interactive and effective language acquisition experiences. Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions and group classes for students of varying ages, including working with children, preschoolers, and adults. Design lesson plans that align with educational standards and incorporate special education needs when applicable. Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior, active participation, and a supportive learning atmosphere. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting instruction accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in teaching, curriculum development, and working with diverse student populations. Experience Proven experience in classroom teaching or tutoring across multiple age groups, including preschool experience and working with children. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education. Familiarity with learning technology platforms used in language instruction. Experience in adult education settings or adult language programs is highly desirable. Knowledge of special education principles and classroom management techniques to support diverse learners. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from various backgrounds while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. Prior childcare or preschool experience is a plus for understanding early childhood developmental needs. Pay:
$51,891.28 - $62,492.72 per year
