Drop Spinning Instructor Description:
Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE), located in Harvard Square, is seeking a skilled and passionate drop spinning instructor to teach introductory and intermediate drop spinning classes to a group of up to 8 students during the summer term, which runs from September to December, with the potential to continue into future terms. The ideal candidate has experience teaching beginner-level drop spinning and is available to teach in person on weekday evenings and/or weekends. CCAE provides a dedicated studio space, and students may bring their own tools and materials as appropriate. The hourly rate begins at $25+/hr,mensurate with experience. Instructors may also take one free class per term (up to a $300 value).
Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience, preferably with adult learners Ability to engage and support a diversemunity of students Reliable, punctual, and able tomit to a consistent class schedule Strong drop spinning experience, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of techniques, fibers, and skill levels Excellentmunication skills, with the ability to clearly explain techniques to beginners Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and skill levels Knowledge of different spindle types, spinning techniques, fibers, and their uses Amitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment
