Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivers group and individual Adult Education instruction to include high school equivalency preparation and integrated training and education for adults. Develops training curricula and / or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives. May collaborate with a technical instructor to support high school equivalency students while they simultaneously work toward education that leads to family-sustaining careers. Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods that best suit adult learners. Delivery may include differentiated instruction, class lectures, workshops and online instruction. Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document education. Evaluates effectiveness of educational delivery methods and uses relevant data to recommend and implement changes as needed. May review instructor performance and recommend improvements to program content and / or instructor presentation methods. May recruit, select and train instructors. May lead, guide and train staff / student employees, interns and / or volunteers who are performing related work. May coordinate and facilitate instruction with NMSU partner entities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field plus Three years of professional experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.
