Adult Career Center Part-time Electrical Instructor

Our Adult Career Center is looking for enthusiastic team players to teach adult learners/employees for business and industry customized training. Share your knowledge and work experience with employees updating their skills. As an instructor you will be responsible for instruction and supervision of adult students receiving training through our Business and Industry Contract Training program. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for a flexible, as needed schedule. Applicant must be able to qualify for a teaching adult education license from the Ohio Department of Education as well as pass BCI-FBI reports and drug screen.

Additional qualifications include:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the electrical field required. Must have knowledge of basic electricity, electric motor control, PLC, and high & low voltage and overall electrical systems. Computer and technology skills a plus. Teaching or related field experience is a plus. Must be able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with a diverse staff and student population. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
