Summary:
The GED Coach will provide engaging, meaningful, and relevant information through a variety of teaching methods. Academic activities provided by the GED Coach will include but not limited to hands-on projects, technical projects, guest speakers, group activities, traditional lectures, quizzes and tests.Duties Include:
- Create an engaging in-person learning environment
- Support students in GED preparation
- Update Case Management systems weekly
- Order GED tests
- Maintain an update an accurate calendar of education and lesson plans
- Help participants identify personal goals and overcome personal barriers
- Help participants identify career/employment opportunities
