Summary:
The GED Coach will provide engaging, meaningful, and relevant information through a variety of teaching methods. Academic activities provided by the GED Coach will include but not limited to hands-on projects, technical projects, guest speakers, group activities, traditional lectures, quizzes and tests.
Duties Include:
  • Create an engaging in-person learning environment
  • Support students in GED preparation
  • Update Case Management systems weekly
  • Order GED tests
  • Maintain an update an accurate calendar of education and lesson plans
  • Help participants identify personal goals and overcome personal barriers
  • Help participants identify career/employment opportunities
