Job Description

POSITION
Youth/Adult Dance Instructor-Part-Time Seasonal Position (All Is Dance Academy)
SUMMARY:
Instructor is responsible for planning and facilitating dance classes for the Recreation & Community Services Department. Directly reports to the Dance Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old 3+ years of dance experience 1+ years of assisting/teaching dance classes Proficient in 1 or more of the following dance styles: ballet, hip hop, jazz, poms, tap Available Saturdays from 8 am - 1pm for the following dates: 10/10/26-3/6/27, No class on 11/28, 12/19, 12/26, 1/2 Experience in teaching programs as an instructor, aide or teacher Ability to plan, organize and instruct the program Knowledge of the program area that is instructing Passion for running a high quality program
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create lesson plans. Submit lesson plans to the Dance Coordinator prior to the program for approval. Facilitate lesson plans for programs. Maintain good public relations with participants, staff and community. Adhere to Employee Handbook Responsible for tracking dance participant attendance at classes Help Coordinator prepare/execute for recital Other duties as assigned
Pay:
$13-15/ hour depending on experience
