An Agricultural Science Professor leads courses in the agricultural sciences. Includes teachers of agronomy, dairy sciences, fisheries management, horticultural sciences, poultry sciences, range management, and agricultural soil conservation. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for direct guidance and instruction in the clinical arena. Treats students and colleagues with respect. Active involvement in issues of institutional effectiveness including student learning outcomes, program level outcomes, and marketable skill achievement. Focuses teaching and outreach efforts on student success. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution. Required Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must have one of the following
Certifications:
Certified Board Sterile Processing & Dist (CBSPD), or Certified Reg Central Service Tech (CRCST), or Certified Sterile Proc/Distr Tech (CSPDT), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required Skills & Abilities Knowledge and understanding of the professional career paths and demand of the field. Sensitivity to the needs and requirements of adult learners. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Above average computer skills. Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegiality. Microsoft Office proficient. Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences. Preferred Skills & Abilities Proficient with Canvas LMS Required Experience 3 years specialty of focus experience Preferred Experience SPD supervisory experience in a hospital preferred Teaching experience a plus Special Instructions to Applicants Subject to criminal background check.
