A reasonable estimated full-time (100%) annual rate for this position is $70,977

Position description We seek one or more lecturers broadly trained in Anthropology to teach courses across the subdisciplines, with particular emphasis on intersections of anthropological approaches to biological, ecological, and cultural dimensions of health.
The lecturer will:
1) Develop and teach three large gateway courses (with max enrollment 300 students) and one upper division specialty courses 2) Teach undergraduate students pursuing the Anthropology of Health honors projects and 3) Participate in curriculum development and assessment for the health track in Anthropology. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Master's Degree in Anthropology or closely related field 1 year demonstrated teaching experience Preferred qualifications PhD in Anthropology or related field Expertise in Biological, Sociocultural, or Archaeological Anthropology with the ability to teach in one or more of these fields of study 2 years of teaching experience Experience teaching large (n>100) classes Experience working with Teaching Assistants Application Requirements Document requirements Curriculum Vitae
