Anthropology Work Location Lexington, KY Type of Position Faculty Position Time Status Full-Time Tenure Track Status Non-Tenure Track Required Education A Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology is required at the time of appointment. Required Related Experience n/a Required License/Registration/Certification n/a Job Summary The Department of Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a Full-Time Instructor in Anthropology. This non-tenure-eligible, temporary title series position will begin August 1, 2026, with a teaching assignment of 4 undergraduate courses in the Fall, and 4 undergraduate courses in the Spring. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in multiple modalities in Biological Anthropology, Human Origins, Cultural Anthropology, and North American Cultures. The ideal candidate will have broad scholarly expertise in biological and skeletal anthropology and must have experience designing laboratory exercises for biological anthropology courses A Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology is required at the time of appointment.
