1040 N Olive Rd., Tucson, AZ 85721 USA Position Highlights The School of Landscape Architecture and Planning is looking to fill multiple positions of Adjunct Lecturer in Landscape Architecture, Sustainable Built Environments, and Heritage Conservation. We seek faculty who can work with students and colleagues and teach topics related to GIS, urban ecology, public lands management, landscape architectural design, and/or heritage conservation and historic preservation. We seek faculty who can work with students and colleagues, and individuals who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives. This position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The duties include teaching one to two courses per semester online, in-person, or both. Duties & Responsibilities Teach one to two courses per semester. Prepare syllabi and course assignments. Deliver classroom lectures and instructional activities. Create, grade, and critique student assignments. Prepare and grade exams. Evaluate overall student performance in the course. Participate in relevant department faculty meetings as appropriate. Additional duties may be assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work with various students and colleagues. Minimum Qualifications A terminal degree or have a minimum of three years of professional experience in the field (excluding teaching). Preferred Qualifications Relevant professional licensure or certification. Successful college or university teaching experience. Experience managing web-based and remote learning environments.
