Job Summary The student will work in cataloging and digitizing the Museum of Aviation¿s 483rd Bombardment Group collection, a World War II collection that is housed on the Macon Campus. Responsibilities Process specific areas of the 483rd collection according to DACS standards Data Entry using the Archivera cataloging system Document any conservation needs related to the collection Develop tags/subject terms associated with the individual records found in the collection for finding aid inclusion Create finding aids of the collection assigned using DACS standards Verify and research the current 483rd paper cataloging system with the new electronic one Complete internship discussion posts and final reflection Required Qualifications Minimum GPA of 2.5 Be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours Students must be either an English or History major. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
