Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Records Associate to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and organizing records while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working within legal, banking, or corporate settings.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and organize new files following established protocols.
  • Enter data into records management systems such as LegalKey, Accutrac, or FileSurf.
  • Prepare records for storage at offsite warehouses as needed.
  • Retrieve files upon request for use outside the department.
  • Generate detailed reports using the records management database.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential documents with the utmost care.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in all record-related tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team in a dynamic work environment.
  • Regularly lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in office services, preferably within legal, banking, or large corporate environments.
  • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with records management systems.
  • Ability to adhere to established procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Knowledge of systems such as LegalKey, Accutrac, or FileSurf is preferred.
