Job Description

Archival Technician Utah State Archives is looking for a new Archival Technician to work in the State Records Center in Clearfield. If you have great customer service skills, warehouse or stockroom experience, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and are skilled at entering information into a database, this could be the job for you! Key Responsibilities Agency Support:
Assist state agencies with records management inquiries, concerns, and reports.
Records Processing:
Receive and verify incoming records for accuracy; organize, prepare, and process archival materials for storage, transfer, or destruction. Receiving and verifying incoming records to ensure accuracy
Database Management:
Maintain precise logs and records by entering and managing information within a computerized database.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent service through professional phone and email communication.
Warehouse Operations:
Shelf, retrieve, and organize boxed materials using warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric lifts.
Project Support:
Complete additional assignments and projects as directed.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds between pallets and shelving. Ability to perform work at heights of up to 20 feet safely. Strong customer service skills Knowledge of various computer software programs including
Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel Preferred Qualifications:
The best qualified applicants will have: Experience working in a warehouse. Experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack.
Supplemental Requirements Physical Requirements:
Requires repeatedly lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds between pallets and shelving. Additionally, the role frequently involves balancing, bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, and twisting. Tasks also include performing twist-and-lift maneuvers and working at heights of up to 20 feet. About the Role Location
