Description Position Summary:

Simpson College is seeking qualified and passionate educators for part-time Adjunct Faculty positions in Applied Music. We are currently hiring specialists in voice to provide individualized and/or group instruction to music majors and non-majors. These positions are ideal for professional musicians and educators who are committed to student success and artistic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide applied instruction in voice for majors and non-majors Prepare and deliver course materials, including syllabi Evaluate student progress through performances, assignments, and assessments. Offer constructive feedback and mentorship to students. Participate in departmental juries and recitals. Maintain professional standards in teaching and musicianship. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Music or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in vocal performance Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

Preferred Qualifications:

College-level teaching experience. Active performance career or professional experience in art song and opera, with familiarity with musical theatre.
