Job Description
Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and learning. Adjunct faculty are qualified part-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing. Aurora University is searching for a qualified director for the Mariachi Band. Teaching responsibilities for the 2026-2027 academic year include: Serve as the director for the Mariachi Band Assist with recruiting players for the Mariachi band Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications must align to the Faculty Qualification Policy M.M. or equivalent in Music required. Terminal degree in Music preferred. Previous successful Mariachi band direction experience Please include a s ample of a recent music performance The anticipated pay rate for this position is $1,100 per credit hour. This compensation is subject to change at the sole discretion of the university, based on institutional needs.
