Professor/Coordinator of Art
BENEDICT COLLEGE - COLUMBIA, SC 29204
Apply Apply Studio Art Coordinator Teach courses in studio arts and mass communication as assigned by the Department Chair; serve as lead curriculum and assessment faculty for studio art program; provide academic advising to students; maintain an active scholarly agenda of research and service; serve on departmental, school, and college committees; participate in community service and outreach programs; and work collaboratively with colleagues and other programs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Earned terminal degree in discipline (or closely related area) Commitment to excellence in college teaching, to an active scholarly agenda, and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity Ability to use technology and selected platforms effectively in teaching and learning Ability to demonstrate collegiality and a sound work ethic Preferred Qualifications Five (5) or more years of teaching experience in higher education Record of publications and teaching effectiveness Proficiency with learning management systems and online teaching and learning Share job details to
