Job Description

Overview This is a part-time on-site role as an Art Instructor located in Dublin, CA. As an Art Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting art classes and providing guidance to children during camps and after school classes. Your main tasks will include teaching various art techniques, assisting students in developing their artistic skills, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Teaching art and craft-related activities to students during camps (9:00AM-3:00PM) and after school classes (Tuesday to Friday 4:00PM-7:00PM and Saturday 9:30AM-12:30PM, some Sundays as well). Maintaining a positive and creative learning environment. Ensuring the studio is clean and organized after each session. Cleaning and preparing art materials for future classes. Taking photos and videos during classes and workshops for documentation and promotional purposes. Ensuring the safety and order of students during class. Able to follow Global Art methodology and curriculum. Qualifications Experience working with children and a passion for teaching Experience working with children with disabilities is beneficial Strong traditional media art skills (especially in drawing and painting) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment Patience, creativity, and the ability to inspire students Flexibility in adapting teaching methods to cater to different learning styles Interest in art is a plus Previous experience as an art tutor or teacher is a plus Able to work long-term Resume is required Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students through personalized education!
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Application Question(s): Have you worked with kids (ages 5-13)? Will you be able to work during 9:00AM-3:00PM Monday-Friday and 4:00-7:00PM (Tuesday-Saturday)? We are looking for a tutor who can do both. Do you have experience in art as a hobby/previous jobs/interest?
