We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized Art Installation Teacher to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to guide students in creating impactful art installation or sculpture pieces as part of our comprehensive art portfolio program.

Position Overview:

As a Sculpture / Installation Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic development of students. We are looking for an individual with exceptional artistic, organizational, and communication skills, capable of guiding students through the process of conceptualizing, creating, and presenting their art installation pieces. The successful candidate will be adept at managing projects efficiently and meeting portfolio deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

Develop and refine a curriculum that aligns with the goals of the art portfolio program and incorporates art installation techniques and concepts. Design engaging lessons and projects that challenge students to explore and push their creative boundaries. 2.

Instruction:

Conduct hands-on classes to teach sculpture/art installation techniques, emphasizing both technical skills and conceptual thinking. Provide guidance on project planning, time management, and execution of art installations/sculptures. 3.

Project Management:

Assist students in planning and organizing their sculpture/art installation projects, ensuring they meet portfolio requirements. Monitor project timelines and provide support to ensure students complete their work before deadlines. 4.

Communication:

Maintain clear and open communication with students, providing constructive feedback on their projects. Collaborate with fellow teachers and program coordinators to ensure a cohesive and integrated learning experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts or a related field. Proven experience in art installation or 3D media with a strong portfolio. Teaching experience in a high school or equivalent educational setting. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
