ArtQuest San Ramon is a children's art enrichment program for children to develop their intellectual, artistic, and creative abilities. Our programs include drawing, sketching, acrylic painting, crafts, and clay modeling. We are looking for a mature, responsible, and creative person to join our team. No degree is necessary - just a keen passion for kids, art & crafts. You will be provided with ArtQuest's teaching methodology & training upon joining us. Please note that this is a part time position as we operate mostly in the afternoon during the weekdays (3:30-6:30pm) and few hours on Saturday (9:30am-12:30pm).
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children (ages 4-13) in drawing, sketching, coloring, acrylic painting, clay-modeling, and other art & crafts activities.
- Be able to independently teach between 4-5 children at a time with minimal guidance.
- Prepare samples of paintings and crafts for use during instruction time.
- Must be able to work Wednesday to Friday (3:30 - 6:30 PM) and Saturday (9:30 - 12:30 PM). Hours may change.
- Must be able to work all or most days of school breaks (Spring & Summer breaks). We follow the San Ramon Valley Unified School District calendar.
- Must have passion for teaching and working with children.
