Please see Special Instructions for more details. The Yuba Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position. Part-time instructor positions are filled as needed through ongoing recruitment. Applicants are contacted and hired year-round based on college needs. This pool is open continuously and refreshed every two years. Applicants in this pool will remain active for two years. After two years applicants will receive an email with information on how to remain in the pool.

BASIC FUNCTION
: Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Art courses up to 10 hours/week Organize and teach all levels of Art classes Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired
REQUIRED DUTIES
: Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Essential Duties Summary Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in art history, history of art and architecture, or visual culture/visual studies OR Bachelor's in art history AND Master's in history OR Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history OR The equivalent
EQUIVALENCY REQUIREMENT
: All applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications specified by the Yuba Community College District ( YCCD ) by the application filing date.
