Job Summary Madison Beach & Recreation Department (CT) is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Painting & Drawing Instructor to lead engaging workshops and classes that inspire creativity and skill development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in painting & drawing techniques while fostering a welcoming environment for learners of all levels Key Responsibilities Lead weekly Painting & Drawing classes. Develop age-appropriate art lessons focusing on drawing, painting, color theory, and creative expression. Prepare materials, set up the classroom, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and individualized support to students. Encourage creativity while ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Manage classroom behavior and maintain positive communication with on-site staff. Track attendance and report updates or concerns to program coordinators. Qualifications Experience teaching in an educational or recreational setting. Strong background in visual arts, including painting, drawing, and basic art techniques. Ability to adapt lessons for multiple age groups and skill levels. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
