Jimmy Potters Workshop is gearing up for an exciting spring season, and we're looking for passionate, energetic instructors to lead our beloved after-school pottery program for children across the Washington, D.C. area. If you love watching young minds blossom and want to help kids get their hands dirty with clay this spring, we'd love to meet you!
The RoleAs a Fall 2026 Pottery Instructor, you will: Teach fun, hands-on pottery techniques to elementary-aged students in a lively after-school setting. Create a safe, nurturing, and joyful classroom environment where every child feels encouraged to explore their creativity. Inspire a love of art and self-expression in young learners through guided projects and imaginative play. Collaborate with the Jimmy Potters team to deliver a fresh, spring-themed curriculum that keeps kids excited week after week.
QualificationsEarly Childhood / Daycare Experience (Required): Candidates must have exceptional experience in daycare and/or early childhood development. This is a non-negotiable requirement — we need instructors who truly understand how young children learn, grow, and thrive.
