In this role, you will develop engaging curricula that integrate traditional techniques with innovative learning technologies, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of art principles. Your enthusiasm for teaching and ability to connect with students will help nurture their artistic talents while promoting confidence and self-expression. We are a small, public, charter school, that provides a focused, college-preparatory curriculum and work alongside families to help each student realize their full potential. As an affiliate of the Hyde School - a character-focused boarding school in Bath, Maine - we embed the Hyde Institute character curriculum throughout all subject areas, including Athletics. We are seeking a Florida Certified Art Teacher who is ready to join our committed team and embrace our mission of developing civic leaders distinguished by excellent character. Requirements :
Valid, professional or temporary teaching certificate in relevant field OR ability to obtain FLDOE Statement of Eligibility Successfully passed background check administered by Orange County Public Schools (conducted as part of the hiring process) Demonstrated experience working within a school athletic program
Preferences :
Experience coaching and teaching Ability and willingness to teach a school subject Ability & willingness to support an extracurricular activity or coach a sport
