We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate / Art Instructor to join our team. As a Sales Associate , you will assist customers with their shopping needs and help ensure an excellent studio experience. As an Art Instructor , you will help students create beautiful pieces of art. We will provide full extensive training for this role. However, prior art experience is a plus , especially experience teaching art to kids or adults in any setting (formal classes, workshops, camps, or informal instruction). Responsibilities Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures Teach fluid art and resin art classes to individuals and groups of students Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales Collect payments by cash and credit card Issue receipts and refunds to customers Assist with stocking, inventory, and store maintenance Cleaning the studio as and when required Support sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives set by the studio Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to help customers with selections. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively Understanding of sales techniques and customer service best practices Willingness to work well in a team environment Ability to quickly and accurately operate a register Willingness to work a flexible schedule Strong multitasking skills and the ability to quickly switch between tasks in a fast-paced studio environment Ability to prioritize based on task lists and real-time studio needs Open to feedbac k and able to adapt quickly Preferred Experience teaching or assisting with art instruction for kids or adults Connect and build rapport with kids and adults alike Happy to dive into paint and embrace the creative, messy side of art
