Job Description

About us Preston School District is home to roughly 2,300 students, and is the largest employer in Preston, ID. With one high school, one alternative high school, one junior high and two elementary schools, the district is also a community hub for sports, education and more. Preston School District #201 is currently seeking an Art teacher at the secondary level for the 2026-27 school year. Successful candidates will hold an Idaho endorsement or equivalent in Visual Arts (6-12) and be willing to teach students at the high school level. Candidates will be responsible for teaching 4 (four) periods (2/3 FTE) and must have good classroom management skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Idaho Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements such as 1. Art (K-12), Art (6-12), or Visual Arts (6-12) Strong background in teaching methods, developmentally appropriate classroom activities, and effective classroom management Strong background in curriculum and the Idaho Core Standards Ability to maintain a positive learning environment Works well with students, staff, and the public Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Maintain confidentiality of staff and students To find out more about the Preston School District, please visit our website at www.psd201.org. •Interested candidates should
